Demystifying Psychosocial Assessments for Gender-Affirming Medical Procedures

The goals of the seed grant are to (1) gather data from Trans and Gender Diverse adults in order to build a conceptual model about their experience with the psychosocial assessments and, (2) develop familiarity with a potential comparison group who has a similar requirement, adults seeking bariatric surgery, through focus groups with patients and providers.
