Nebraska Conference on Health Equity

In the Spring of 2020, MHDI was able to foster a new and exciting partnership with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ (NE DHHS) Office of Health Disparities and Health Equity (OHDHE). This collaboration between MHDI and OHDHE led to the formation of the Nebraska Conference on Health Equity (NECHE).

NECHE is a call to action on health equity and health disparities that exist in historically excluded populations in the state of Nebraska and beyond. Presenters review local, regional, and national disparity data, share important tools and community resources, and provide strategies to improve awareness and outcomes.
